As the Locality General Manager, North I contribute to the Health Board’s transformation agenda and am accountable for the local implementation of key national and organisational strategies to meet the objective to deliver truly integrated, high quality care at a local level centre in the community.Working with the Clinical Lead’s and local GP community to test and develop models of increased leadership by GP’s and other clinicians in the development of commissioning and management of services for their Localities and the potential for greater integration and sharing of resources and staff between the Health Board and GP practices.I am responsible for managing the ‘whole system’ for the North Locality, including the hospital and community services we provide together with Women and Children's services across the whole of Powys.
