Provides care and support services to palliative care patients and their families, including ADL assistance, daily needs, grief and social support, general tasks.

Part of a two person sales team responsible for census growth and stability in an Assisted Living retirement community. Duties include tours, outreach and general PR, assisting nursing staff with admission criteria and assessment. Special attention paid to media and event planning, sales strategies and reporting. Also supported the management team with resident issues, planning and administration.

Functioned as the Marketer and Recruiter for a busy multi-specialty surgery center in Rancho Cucamonga. Duties include general marketing, design of marketing materials, community involvement with the Chamber of Commerce, as well as performing Physician credentialing. Also acting liaison to the medical office, to streamline scheduling of surgeries and maintaining a high level of patient care. Medical duties include per diem help in PACU with admit and recovery, supply management and with sterile processing and OR turnover. Additional duties include assisting the business office by negotiating managed care contracts, performing insurance verifications, and with scheduling.

Family Practice duties included all aspects of patient care and triage, phlebotomy and injections, allergen scratch testing, minor surgical assist, surgical and pharmaceutical supply management, sterilization of surgical instruments, research and managed care coordination. Also assisted the business office with billing/coding issues

Neurosurgical duties included patient care, pre and post operative care including suture and staple removal, triage, supply management, surgical scheduling and managed care coordination. Also assisted with Worker’s Compensation coordination of care and disability.
