I completed a 200 hour internship where I was responsible for a classroom of children from ages 7 to 8 all who had been assessed by a therapist and they have a range of behavioral problems or attention disorders. The classroom ranged from about 10 to 20 children and it was my responsibility to manage the day to day activities and to modify unwanted or disruptive behavior. I learned how to lead and teach the children and maintained a functional classroom safe for sharing and learning.
