Directly work with Health Insurance Companies’ Dual-Eligible Special Needs Plan (DSNP) to serve the Medicaid and Medicare community. We work as a TPA to work towards CMS’s Final Rule, by hosting Advisory Committees for our members to take part in. We also are looking to help insurances learn more about retention of their members through our Data Platform.

Work hands on at the Prevention and Early Adversity Research Lab (PEARL) at the University of Maryland, with a specific role in the HEALthy Brain and Child Development (HBCD) Study. As an Undergraduate Research Assistant, I collect data, organization information and assist higher-ups in their research goals. Specifically, we studied how opioid use during pregnancy impact the infant’s brain development by doing EEG at two separate increments - One at 3-5 months, the other at 7-9 months. We also did the ERICA test study to observe mother and child interactions. Along with medical tests and observations on both the mother and child. The HBCD Study is a nationwide program that is indeed to improve the quality of research we have on drug abuse during pregnancy on the infant’s development.
