I have been working in the incentives sector since 1999 when I joined Capital Incentives selling Capital Bonds and managing a portfolio of clients spanning the finance, IT, telco, and automotive industries.After spending 18 months with the company, I became responsible for the development of the Capital Bond itself, bringing onboard new retailers and launching targeted offers directly to voucher recipients.Continuing in the industry, and working for various full-service agencies, including P&MM, Grass Roots, Intuitive Marketing and Improve Marketing - all of which are now trading under different names - I was involved in the introduction of points banking programmes, plastic gift cards and the almighty race to launch pre-paid cards in the early 2000’s.After spending a few years in interior architecture, I have returned to my passion of working in the incentives and motivation space and joined The Inspire Group in 2021 to head up its Travel Gift Card business.Since joining the Group I have employed my acute commercial vision, product development skills and strong leadership experience, which has resulted in the company doubling the size of its gift card business and in 2021/22 achieving the Group’s ‘best ever’ year of sales of the TravelCard by Inspire – an accomplishment that is particularly satisfying given the backdrop of a global pandemic and its significant impact on international travel for a period of two years.With my determined and entrepreneurial mindset, I have re-marketed Inspire’s Travel Gift Card offering, opened additional routes to market and have many more exciting projects in the pipeline.I have a passion for delivering performance improvement and producing dynamic and robust product and service propositions, through adopting and fully embracing new technology and best practice.
