I have been blessed to be a part of the Midway ISD and Waco ISD families in my career. Teaching in these neighboring districts allowed me to showcase both my passion for teaching and for working with students of diverse backgrounds. The more I learned about being a good educator the more I wanted to make a difference in the lives of more students, so I began my career as an Assistant Principal to do just that. For the last four years I have been a part of a transformational journey at Tennyson Middle School in Waco ISD where our motto "All Texans have TRUE GRIT!" has helped mold our students into leaders. I am currently pursuing a Doctorate in Educational Leadership- K-12 at Baylor University where I am privileged to learn from world-class educational leaders on the most current topics in the field of education. I am currently seeking a principal position.
