Business And Partnership Development ManagerHammersmith And Fulham Law Centre Jan 2014 - Apr 2017Fulham, LondonProject managed the Lottery funded Advice Station project in Hammersmith and Fulham. It was a two-year project to bring together all principal advice providers to create a single point of contact for advice and to improve outcomes for clients by increasing collaboration between existing advice and support services.It was a complex project and involved working in partnership with the voluntary and statutory sectors. My main achievements included:• Set up and development of the Advice Forum - an alliance of advice and information providers delivering services within the borough• Creation of the Advice Station website and development of all branding and communications• Establishment of a referral network between advice providers• Training of staff and volunteers in advice organisations• Co-ordination of outreach services• Control of all expenditure and achievement of significant cost savings• Project evaluation and full reporting to fundersFunding from BLF ended in December 2015. The project has proved sustainable and the Local Authority now provides funding to develop the strategic work within the advice sector. I continue to run the Advice Forum and am working with the Local Authority and partners to develop an Advice Strategy.I am responsible for all communications and marketing and am currently designing and building a new website for the organisation.In January 2016 I designed and ran an Advice Conference for 160 delegates.

Achievements included:Financial Management: Control and preparation of all financial analysis, budgets and forecasts. Also reporting to and negotiating with the parent company and setting pricing guidelines. Notable achievements include a 10% year on year reduction in carriage costs, savings of £100k on manufacturing costs in 1997 and reduction of repackaging costs from £400k in 1994 to less than £30k in 1997.Stock Management: Overhauled the entire stock management process and developed a stock forecasting system, cutting the period for which stock was held from an average of 50 to 15-20 days. Manufacturing: Commercially and quality focused management of £10m UK production, £30m of product sourced from the Company’s Manufacturing plant in Germany and £5m from Far East suppliers.Warehousing: Achieved improvements of 20% in warehousing costs (from £1.2m in 1995 to £800k in 1997) through negotiation of a major outsourced contract and rationalisation of obsolete stock.Relationship Management & Customer Service: Liaison and negotiation with suppliers and clients from the company’s retail and professional markets, management of customer service standards and, ultimately, troubleshooting to resolve complex issues.Project Management: Following acquisition of the £20m Memorex brand in 1995, reviewed, rationalised and integrated stock, products and customers into the BASF system without additional costs. Initiated and implemented a Local Area Network for the division, ensuring accessible and shared information. Project managed the installation in the UK of SAP R\3, a fully integrated logistics and finance system.Quality Management: Documented and audited Divisional procedures for ISO 9000 registration.
