As a brewing and beverage team leader I lead a team of beverage techncians, technical officers, temps and graduates to produce top quality products while keeping safe everyday. Quality and hygiene are a key focus along with process improvement and problem sovling. To acheive this the use of lean manufacturing processes are used including 5S, TM, FI, VM and Q@S. People development is a real passion and I am able to support people to achieve their goals and dreams.

As a packaging team leader I led a team of packaging technicians on the still wine line. This role gave me the chance to work in the packaging environment and to experience a different side of the company. I was able to lead and manage high standard of production quaity and hygiene on the pack line while championing safety every day. Stream lining processes through setup time reduction, 5S and team work saw us hit OEE records.

The role of quality control leader involved the leadership of quality control technicians and lab mangement for the wine packaging department. This was a diverse role that included analytical and microbiology lab testing, equipment calibration and maintenance, consumable purchasing, new product development and trials. With the use of lean manufacturing tools we were able to streamline existing testing methods and develope new methods to improve quality and productivity.
