For over eight years, I worked as part of the senior leadership team at Lifeworks Charity Limited, a non-profit organisation that supports people with learning disabilities and their families in education, community activities and residential care. As the Head of People and Culture, I led a team of HR professionals and oversaw all aspects of people management, including strategy, rewards, benefits, engagement, policy development, TUPE, organisational change and generalist HR. I am an Associate CIPD member with a postgraduate certificate in leadership & management and a postgraduate diploma in Human Resources Management gained at the University of Plymouth.During my tenure I also served as the Interim Chief Executive Officer for fifteen months, during which I steered the organisation through a challenging period of transition and transformation, ensuring the continuity and quality of services for our beneficiaries and stakeholders. I am passionate about empowering people and culture in the charity sector and creating positive and inclusive work environments. I have strong skills in HR strategy, leadership, organisational change, communication, and collaboration, and I am always eager to learn and grow.
