Baringa Partners is a firm focused to working with our Energy and Resources clients to solve complex issues.As Baringa's Capital Projects lead, I worked with clients to support them to deliver multi-billion dollar assets in metals and mining, national infrastructure, and technology. I took a whole-of-project capability view, considering the integration of procurement, supply chain, HR, Legal, community and government, as well as the internal controls and governance required to inform decisions. Clients include:Global technology leader - Mega-project delivery model transformation in support of their $80B investment portfolio. This included the re-visioning of the way projects were delivered, including the use of Off-Site Manufacturing, greater supply chain integration, and transformative risk management to reduce schedule and cost impact.UK Insurance - IT Transformation Program Director for their investment in end-using compute, cloud migration, security posture uplift, and remote tooling (O365 / Teams / ZScaler). This was a program recovery exercise as a result of the Covid pandemic, and was delivered remotely across a team of 60+ people.South African PGM - Transforming Executive and site level reporting to leverage digital technologies. Reduced reporting turnaround from 3 weeks, to real and near real timeUK energy retailor - IT Separation Program Director, moving to a fully self-sufficient IT infrastructure (desktop, network, data, security, and service).Australian Tier 1 Underground Mine - Digital Twin of a new underground asset, allowing the leadership to model and calibrate performance from pit to port.

I took a 7 month sabbatical after having worked in some form for almost 25 years. I traveled extensively around Australia, including Western Australia and the Norther Territory, and focused on sport and well being.
