I have been in the finance industry for over 20 yrs in various roles I started out in an outsourcing company called Vertex Data Science working for various clients that included Marks and Spencer, National Trust Deutsche Bank to name just a few.After being made redundant after 11 years i started started working for Pershing/ BNY Mellon where i stayed for 9 years where my role there was to work on a Settlements team. This involved managing manual Gbp & foreign payments made via the global Swift Alliance. Another part of the role including up front closures; Client paid direct Closures; Switches & Agency Cross Closures. Reconciling such payments. I then moved roles to work on a Trade support team helping with trade related queries that our dealing team had placed. Also offering bespoke services for Hedge Funds that couldn't be traded via the normal dealing desk. did help out on Fund Applications which would involve registering new client accounts with external vendors (generally general investment, ISA or charity accounts). This would involve adhering to company SLA's, completing client requests in a timely manner & keeping all records up to date.I currently work for ALS Inspection UK LtdActively chasing debt from clients via email and zoom calls involving my own key clients to bring down debt. Providing support to, and cover of absence of the Credit Manager Issue statements to clients and follow up queries, processing credit notes. Allocating cash received to client accounts using financial software.Providing support to customer services team/managers. Creating acknowledgment of samples received into laboratory. Preparation of daily TAT sheet.
