As a Health Designs Team Member, I get to work one-on-one with thousands of employees from many different companies. Besides taking anthropometrics, I have the opportunity to use short intrinsic health coaching sessions to help employees discover the changes they can make to improve their health.

As a contracted Health Educator, I performed brief educations and goal-setting sessions with employees at Madison area hospitals. Together, clients and I sought the root of the behaviors which needed to change and brainstormed methods to reach desired outcomes.

Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy for inpatient pediatrics and adults, and facilitate Nutrition Counseling for outpatients.

-- Coordinate garden and nutrition education program for students at Milwaukee Public Schools.-- Teach inner city students how to garden, cook and eat garden produce, and eat balanced diets to keep them healthy and increase their intake of fruits and vegetables - Provide Hunger Task Force's meal and pantry network with tasty, realistic recipes which help Milwaukee area residents to follow the US Dietary Guidelines

Worked under supervision of registered dietitians during 12-month internship:-- MNT: Provided staff relief in Level One Trauma Center-- Management: Developed and coordinated hospital menu special; participated in Six Sigma project-- Community Nutrition: Networked to develop increased access and cooking demonstrations for farmer's market patrons; managed fellow interns and resolved scheduling conflicts Performed cooking demos geared towards a wide variety of audiences: inner city students, cancer survivors, Peoria area television viewers Relayed nutrition messages on local television and radio
