I currently work as a program assistant (computer lab) at Jones Park Elementary. I work daily with grades Kindergarten through 5th grade. I work closely with teachers to reinforce what students are learning in the classroom and incorporate technology. Students are challenged with learning new skills using the programs that are accessed on their student chrome books. I previously worked in a preschool classroom as an assistant under a certified teacher. In the classroom, I worked to teach students the skills needed to be prepared for kindergarten and daily life skills needed at their age. I have observed in classrooms from preschool through high school along with behavioral classrooms. I use those observations and apply what I have learned in my classroom daily. I will have my Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science in August of this year. I have been accepted to the Master's program in the Art of Teaching at the University of the Cumberlands. I am focusing on Elementary Education.
