In addition to my role at Ian Firth Doors & Hardware I currently hold the position of Leading the North Central Community Hub of the GAI (Guild of Architectural Ironmongers) formerly the institute IAI.I sit on both the Technical and Management Commitees of the Association of Composite Door Manufacturers.I have previously chaired the DHF Timber Doorset Group and held a seat on the Technical Commitee of the Guild of Architectural Ironmongers where I represented ironmongery suppliers and manufacturers on various product standard committees including B538/1&2/P1 which was/is responsible for PAS23, PAS24, among others.I also regularly attended ASDMA meetings when the company was a member.I hold DipGAI RegAI and am responsible for tutoring, mentoring and encouraging colleagues on the course.I also studied CIPS.
