I am a multi-disciplinary visual artist working in the fields of sculpture, installation, and painting. I have always been creative. From my early years I remember creating assemblages with found objects. As a more mature artist now my creative practice extends beyond the creation of objects, rather it informs the way I approach my daily life. My art practice includes reflection, meditation as well as creation. I am a multi-disciplinary artist, meaning that I dabble in various art modes. I continue to be drawn to textiles. Something of the hand-made nature of working with fibre seems natural to me. I can't escape it. I also experiment with photography, hand-formed clay, watercolour painting (occasionally using acrylics and oils), videography, installation and sculpture. I exhibit semi-regularly through community art exhibitions and competitions.
