    The Imaging Pathogens for Knowledge Translation (ImPaKT) Facility features barrier-enclosed imaging scanners and instrumentation which will allow researchers to develop tools and methods to better understand the progression of infectious diseases, identify efficacious antimicrobial agents, develop diagnostic reagents to characterize hidden reservoirs of pathogens, and for the early and accurate detection of infections. As the imaging specialist, the role serves to oversee all imaging projects that take place within the facility. Current projects focus primarily on animal models of SARS-CoV-2 infection or immunization. Also has an active role in ongoing non-imaging industry collaborations and academic research projects conducted within ImPaKT.(Initially started this role as a Research Associate within ImPaKT June 2020-July 2021)
