I am a current student at Appalachian State University. I am studying toward a Bachelor of Sciences in Psychology with a Social Science concentration. Before attending Appalachian State, I gained a lot of valuable experience and skills from volunteer opportunities like environmental cleanups, town festivals, and networking events, as well as through an internship at a local non-profit, and through work as a babysitter. While at university, I am hoping to gain more experience through a part-time job and through work as a research assistant with one of the psychology faculty. The skills learned from these opportunities will assist me as I apply to graduate school and continue on to a career in psychology research. For now, my skills include interpersonal communication, critical and analytical thinking, attention to detail, creativity, and strong writing skills.
