I register clients for their selected course, mark their written assignments and issue certificates upon successful completion. I also answer various e-mails regarding the courses provided by the Respite Leaning Portal.

I was in charge of managing files pertaining to trainers and customers. I updated all filing systems, and reorganized the office. Helped put together business plans and was apart of the key stages of Safeguards' social enterprise planning. I also was involved with other Human Resource planning. I am also in charge of creating new contacts and bring perspective clients to safeguards. I have impletmented our Training Needs Assessment to ensure that Safeguards provides the training that agencies need who are dealing with children and adults who have mental and/or physical disabilities.

I was the summer student for the Human Resources and Finance Department of the Business and Resource Planning branch of the Ministry of Children and Youth Services. Many of my responsibilities were to proof read contracts and look for mathematical errors, make sure all employee files were up to date, update and re-orginize their computerized file share system and update all paper filing systems. I was also involved with archiving old files and making computer copies of archived files.
