As a Field Sales Engineer at Shimadzu Scientific Instruments, I represent the company's comprehensive line of analytical instrumentation, spanning spectrometry, chromatography, elemental analysis and spectroscopy. With a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry from the University of West Florida and years of hands-on work in academia and sales, I have developed a love of learning and a deep understanding of the scientific needs and challenges of my customers. My role allows me to work with a diverse and inspiring group of researchers who perform cutting-edge research in the Southeast. I strive to provide them with the highest quality instrumentation possible so that they can make new discoveries that have potential to change the world for the better. I enjoy connecting with new people, building relationships with existing customers, and learning about scientific progress being made in my community. My customer-first sales approach has led to repeated success for me and my customers, whom I advocate for daily.I am passionate about cultivating authentic relationships through mutual respect, compassion, and lots of laughter. At Shimadzu, I am involved in volunteering in multiple employee resource groups, outreach events and mentorship.
