During my time at Uno Chicago Grill in Wrenthem, MA, I was a full time server/hostess. I worked in the lounge area serving food and beverages. I learned how to multitask in a fast paced work environment as well as how to work as a team with my fellow co-workers in order to successfully do my job and serve my guests.

For this position, I was a student leader and a role model. I helped residents in and out of the residence halls with a variety of issues. I had to react quickly and efficiently on and off duty. I took part in duty rotation with my fellow Community Advisors and Resident Directors. While my position did have me enforce the Student Code of Conduct, my position was also fun and educational. Every step of the way was a learning experience. I learned about myself and my leadership ability as well as the residents I was there to support. Learning about my residence helped me be able to create fun and educational programs for them. I also worked with the Residence Life staff during check-ins and check-outs for semesters as well as camps and conferences.This position I worked in for a little over three years really created the desire I have to work in the field of higher education.
