I am an administrative assistant with one year six months experience in this particular department. I have also been the health and safety coordinator for the same length of time. I currently work in the administration department at Sears Guelph. My job duties include balancing floats as well as the safe, filing client information, processing client orders as well as payments,also as answering our switchboard lines and directing clients to the appropriate departments to name a few. I am also the health and safety coordinator for Sears, Guelph. Some of my responsibilities with that role include creating and managing databases for all employees which outline dates that each associate completed Provincially required training. Orientation of all new associates regarding health and safety practices and procedures within Sears, and investigating all workplace injuries and illnesses involving clients or associates. I am extremely organized and enjoy working in a fast paced environment. My coworkers would describe me as reliable and dependable, we all work together to make sure every task is complete while always stopping to put the client first.I have diplomas in Medical Office Administration, Ward Clerk, and Health Records Clerk from Loyalist College. As well a diploma in the Legal Administrative Assistant program at Everest College.I am currently exploring new opportunities and hope to obtain a full-time position in the medical field.
