My career at Enterprise proved me as a top-seller and earned a management position within my first two years with the company. I increased sales and customer service scores as a new manager in a failing branch when half of the staff, including my supervisor, were removed from the office. I was one of the first people at Enterprise to make the jump to the newly acquired Vanguard brand as a manger and change agent. I managed the fleet, customer service, and sales for National and Alamo while facilitating the transition from Vanguard to Enterprise Holdings. After six years in this role, I moved to Risk Management within the same company. I took the opportunity to serve my community in 2022 as a Village Trustee and have since been named Deputy Mayor. My passion for my community has driven me to seek grant and funding opportunities for development of our business district, maintenance of our water and wastewater treatment plants, and intermunicipal trail connections. As the liaison to our volunteer fire department, I have been honored to participate in the success and growth of this important part of our community. Projects that I have helped implement include acquiring new air packs, streamlining leadership structure, and building a new rescue truck. I acquired my Associates Degree in Health Information Management from Alfred State because I wanted to learn new skills and sought a career that would allow me the flexibility to serve my community. Science and medicine have always fascinated me and I continue to enjoy growing my expertise, but seek a career that will allow me to share my enthusiasm for learning with others.I am an enthusiastic learner who yearns to inspire others. I am able to see things from another person's perspective. I believe that honesty is the most important trait that a person can have, but I also believe that truth is subjective, so it takes patience and understanding to get the full sense of a situation. Building relationships on a foundation of trust is the first step in driving change.
