Patron-focused service position with a variety of circulation, clerical, and support responsibilities. While in this role, I conducted an initiative for employees to keep difficult-to-recycle items out of the landfill and recycle responsibly via TerraCycle. I also proposed and saw the formation of a sustainability committee for staff, and have assisted the Youth Services Department by teaching children's yoga sessions.

I lead a mindful yoga class each week and hold occasional workshops with an intention of making yoga practice more approachable. My experience includes teaching mat classes, using props, chair yoga, leading sessions both in studio and virtually, guided meditation and guided imagery.

Designed as a "For Purpose Small Business", each transaction supports an established nonprofit organization with an environmental focus.From the subject matter of products, sourcing of materials, use of earth friendly packaging, choice of philanthropic establishment to support through product sales, and offering of carbon offset shipping on my e-commerce site, the impacts of each step are considered. As the owner of a creative business, I enjoy working with my hands to create one-of-a-kind items and collaborating with clients to make products that meet their needs. I value connecting with individuals locally and globally. My small business provides opportunities to interact with shoppers while participating in artisan markets, form relationships with other small businesses when consigning with brick and mortar boutiques, and ship my work to customers worldwide.
