I am the union steward for UFCW 1776 which represents AYR Wellness inc. - Doc House location. I am responsible for representing member, communicating and solving member's issues, and helping members navigate benefits.

In this role I lead a team through the process of pre-harvest plant maintenance, harvesting, post-harvest greenhouse cleaning, curing, bucking and trimming. I conduct moisture testing on curing material to determine quality and production timelines. Communicate with other departments about quality and production. I perform quality control checks on our product looking for contaminants. I am highly proficient in running a Mobius trimmer. I am licensed in the state of Pennsylvania to apply pesticides. I conduct interviews to build my team with the best possible candidates when spaces become vacant. I maintain a tier level board that communicates my departments statistics to the rest of the company.

In the vegetation room I was responsible for taking rooted cuttings from our propagation department, planting them, running irrigation to pots and doing plant maintenance until they were ready to flip to the greenhouse. While in my care, I was responsible for making sure there's no issues and acting accordingly when they arose. Some issues I had to look for are pests, molds, or dead plants.

In the greenhouse I was responsible for populating the greenhouses with vegetative plants, irrigating pots, and hanging trellis. My team and I then kept up with weekly plant maintenance until Harvest. Once greenhouses were emptied, we were responsible for sanitizing the greenhouse before repopulation.

In my role as dispensary receptionist, I am required to screen patients as they enter the dispensary and enter them into MJ Freeway/Dutchie. I have direct communications with our pharmacist who certifies patients as they come in. I have a vast knowledge of cannabis and its medicinal properties which allow me to consult patients on purchases.
