Community Programs Manager
The Community Programs Manager is responsible for carrying out the organization’s mission ofconnecting and supporting neighbors helping neighbors in the seven towns surrounding Mt. Ascutney Hospital. The Community Programs Manager manages program design, development and implementation; community assessment activities; program reporting and improvement recommendations. In addition, the Community Programs Manager functions as the main point of contact with the public, is responsible for managing and supervising large groups of volunteers across a number of programs and initiatives, and supervises the ViA Program Assistant, MAHHC Health Connections Coordinator and support staff, and the Resource Center Program Assistants while developing, organizing, and implementing both day-to-day operations and long-term growth. The Community Programs Manager is also responsible for billing, grant writing in collaboration with the Data & Grant Manager, volunteer recruitment/onboarding, and outreach. Additionally, the Community Programs Manager functions as the Co-Chair of the MAHHC Community Health Implementation Plan (CHIP) 50+ Health Network, as the Co-Facilitator of the Windsor VeggieVanGo Program, and as the representative for ViA at numerous community health and transportation weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings.
