Designed and deployed completely custom FileMaker Pro database solution for a private catering coordination and event planning business. Created intuitive interface to manage clients, event details, catering menus and timelines, contracts, billing, etc. Communicated directly with the customer to make updates and add content/functionality as needed.

Designed, tested, documented and maintained systems and software in support of acoustic recording equipment. Established product design process, development schedules and project workflows. Designed database and interface to accommodate end-to-end management of systems data.

Designed PDA application to interface with underwater recorders for testing and programming purposes. Initiated and maintained configuration management systems and change control procedures, developed product design stages.

Bioacoustics Research Program

Designed, built, tested, and deployed data acquisition devices including cabled microphone array systems and autonomous in-air recording units. Revised the mechanical design of underwater recording units. Formally documented the units, including parts list and assembly trees; inventory and automated ordering spreadsheets; build drawings and assembly.

Helped individuals and groups of students understand homework problems and major concepts of object-oriented programming, graded assignments and exams.

As part of a software development team, performed extensive software testing on different operating systems and hardware. Updated error logs, worked with team members to create fixes, tested and modified.ini files relating to the application.
