About Amanda Knight

Apprximately ten years ago, I fell into the world of healthcare essentially by accident, but quickly came to realize that I had found my passion. With a diverse and dynamic background in healthcare and startup environments, I have honed my skills in team leadership, patient care, and operational excellence. For six years, I worked in nursing homes as a CNA, CMA, and shift lead, where I developed a strong foundation in patient care, communication, and medical terminology.Transitioning to the startup world, I spent four years at a growing company, progressing from Care Coordinator to Head of Operations & Patient Success. My role involved managing patient communications, ensuring HIPAA compliance, and improving customer retention through innovative strategies.Currently, I am the co-founder of EngageCare, a company dedicated to helping doctors find qualified patients (and helping patients get scheduled quickly and easily with doctors).
