I am an experienced business attorney who counsels clients on a broad range of business issues. My practice includes advising clients regarding corporate governance, family business, securities and public company compliance obligations, and contract drafting and negotiations. I also represent M&A clients in national security reviews before the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS). In addition to my general business practice, I have extensive experience in the financial services industry. I counsel banks and other financial institutions regarding all aspects of regulation and compliance, including under state law and the Dodd-Frank Act, as well as compliance with consumer protection, anti-money laundering, and economic sanctions laws and regulations. Prior to joining Barley Snyder, I practiced in the Washington, DC, office of Paul Hastings LLP, where I advised banks, fintech companies and other domestic and international companies on a wide range of regulatory, transactional, and compliance issues.
