In 2021, I graduated from La Roche University with a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education PreK-4/Special Education PreK-12th grade. Before attending La Roche University, I obtained my associate degree from the Community College of Beaver County. With my associate degree and experience in the education field from my schooling, I was given an amazing opportunity to teach preschool at The Village Preschool at Laughlin Children's Center for two years before attending La Roche University. Throughout my time teaching, I was able to experience many forms of success, enjoyment, and challenges. I had the honor of working with school professionals, families, specific support services, and many incredible children. Teaching preschool taught me a lot about how to accommodate the individual needs of each child within my classroom and gave me a better outlook on what it takes to leave a positive impact on my students. I am now a learning support teacher at both Jefferson Middle School and Jefferson Elementary School, Mt. Lebanon School District. Each day, I get the honor of working will students and educators across various content areas and grade levels. As a team, we support one another, overcome difficult challenges, and celebrate each other's achievements. I look forward to the many experiences that are yet to come, as I strive to help ready each student for his or her future and continue to grow as an educator.
