Supporting students with Autism with their transition from school to college, while at college and onto university or work. Supporting with mental health and behavioural issues, mentoring them while at college. Creating working relationships with the student, parents and other agencies involved with the student. I attended ECHP meeting to asses the students needs and if our college could meet them, what resources we would need to meet needs. I supported students in classes to ensure understanding and to keep them on track. Arranging family meeting to discuss progress and any issues. I supported the college with open days and recruitment days.
