Prior to my career choice as a hairdresser I worked in retail at Walmart as an assistant manager in the jewelry department where I managed shift schedules, customer service, inventory, sales in diamonds, watches and assorted other caged accessories. While with the company I also worked in shipping and receiving where I unloaded truck shipments, loaded freight and stocked shelves. I helped behind cash registers, worked layaway and also anywhere else the store needed assistance. I was with Wamart for close to 4 years.I have been a hairdresser for 10 years, all of which I have been employed with Regis Corporation. I have opened and closed salons, worked close with management, and eventually took a management position. My responsibility as a salon manager includes customer service, meeting goals in all aspects of the word; including excellent service, financial goal setting, individually as well as corporate set. Providing an excellent work enviroment for staff, while catering to the service industry part of my calling, where I expect myself and staff to give forth thier best preformance in regards to thier technical skills as well as providing a place where our clients love to come spend thier time.I take pride in the staff I have kept and our team commitment! I am also responsible for my stores inventory, schedules and over all business obligations.
