Conduct interviews with parents whose children have been taken into protective custody and accurately assess the family’s strengths and needs. Complete Initial Service Plans, Updated Service Plans and Parent Agency Treatment Agreements. Provide referrals for services needed for reunification of child and parent and track the progress parents are making on their treatment plan. Testify in court the progress made by the family and provide recommendations as to if the child should be returned home. Supervise visitation between the children and their parents. Complete necessary court documents in a timely manner. Insure that the children on my caseload receive all the services they are entitled to.

Gathered information on children coming in to foster care or their need to be moved to a different home. Made determination if a foster parent would be a good fit for a particular child and contacted appropriate foster parents for the child regarding their ability to take in the child. Determined payment codes, clothing allowance and completed the intake process with both child and foster parents. Completed intake reports in a timely manner.
