I am currently a full-time Assistant Professor of Pharmacology, teaching 200-400 medical students in large lecture halls and small groups, as well as mentoring several student groups. I also provide medical advice and primary care to patients as a part-time clinic physician at my local community. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology from the University of the Philippines (UP Diliman) and a Doctorate in Medicine from the University East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center (UERMMMC), which inspired me to become an educator and mentor to students of different backgrounds. As a clinician, I deliver quality patient-centered care regardless of age, race, ethnicity, language, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, or gender identity, while interacting with other health professionals and government employees. These have given me great insight into what it means to be a good teacher, health professional, and human.
