As Head of Innovation and AI, I restructured the department to focus on delivering business value through innovation. I doubled the adoption of new product features in my first year, scaling from 4 to 8 features across Senior's product lines. I created virtual squads and an innovation pipeline, increasing project output by 140% in the following year. Currently managing a team of 14 (data scientists, software architects, and developers), overseeing 24 annual projects that convert into 10+ new features. As an interim leader of the research team, I redefined processes and significantly increased team engagement by driving participation in tech events and publishing thought tecnological articles. Delivered the Diversity & Inclusion Census productization and develop an AutoML as a service, accelerating AI model validation. Although not officially a manager, I led team development through 1:1 mentoring and implemented structured research processes that are now foundational to the team’s operations.

Led key AI projects focusing on machine learning and computer vision. Delivered a facial recognition algorithm with 94% accuracy across three input images, leveraging Python, Scikit-learn, and TensorFlow. Spearheaded the development of a data-driven product, the Diversity and Inclusion Census, now a product of the company’s management systems. Worked with SQL, Python, and data analysis, integrating systems with eSocial. Additionally, developed AI models for gesture detection and time-tracking prediction, streamlining HR operations.

Contributed to the Fieldopt project, sponsored by Schlumberger, as an Open Source Developer. I implemented a new version of the software in C++, introducing the Trust Region Optimization method and model ensemble capabilities. This role involved extensive data manipulation, optimization model validation, Python scripting for result validation and C++ development. I collaborated with international teams to deliver robust solutions that optimize field operations and improve model extensions.
