About Amanda M.

I'm passionate about communities and the environment. For the last seven years I have been working at Patagonia in a variety of capacities: in customer service, as a leader, a manager, and now creating and implementing opportunities for activism and engagement (virtual and in person) for the Customer Experience department. With a B.S. in Health Science, I am particularly interested in how environmental health intersects with human and community health, and finding solutions that benefit both. I am privileged to have grown up in a community that encouraged me to be a steward of the environment. I have worked as tour guide in Acadia National Park, as a farmer on a regenerative organic agriculture fruit and vegetable farm, and taught community-based yoga classes to raise money for local nonprofits working on climate solutions. I seek work that aligns with my values, so I can best impact the world around me.
