I founded First Stop Cosplay to find ways to help aspiring and existing cosplayers improve their skills and make their own costumes rather than simply purchase premade ones. As president, I preside over the other departments, as well as work with all employees and volunteers to establish long and short-term goals and strategies.

Lolita Dark is a revolutionary Los Angeles-based band whose music is inspired by Japanese Rock. I work directly with the band on an as needed basis to provide assistance with costume design. I also edited a music video for the Lolita Dark panel at NAMM in 2015.

I created custom costumes for individual clients. I also worked on films such as Knights of Badassdom (directed by Joe Lynch), Mein Krieg (directed by Jeff Fry), and Abandoned (directed by Michael Feifer). I had the opportunity to work with many well-respected actors and performers, including Peter Dinklage, Ryan Kwanten, Summer Glau, Steve Zahn, Danny Pudi, Margarita Levieva, Brittany Murphy, and the New York-based band, Gina Cutillo. In 2013, I was featured as a special guest at the Long Beach Cherry Blossom Festival.

Hokkaido, Japan

I collaborated with other interns in conjunction with local governments to analyze the social and economic conditions in various subprefectures of Hokkaido as part of Japan's regional revitalization initiative. We then identified driving factors behind the problems that the initiative seeks to fix and devised solutions that we submitted to government officials in each community.

Santa Monica, Ca

I was hired to answer phones and input patient information for a high-end dental lab. However, within four months I was working directly with our clients and vendors, saving my boss's computer from the brink of destruction, and handling the majority of the QuickBooks accounting (inputting and generating invoices, paying bills, paying sales tax, reconciling the statement of accounts, etc.). Additionally, by the time I left the company, I had written an 84-page training manual for the front office.

Greater Los Angeles Area

Tune in Tokyo consists of a group of talented DJs who promote Japanese Pop, Korean Pop, and Asian Rock in the Greater Los Angeles Area. As the Assistant Events Manager, I manned the door (checked IDs and collected money) at events, socialized with attendees, assisted the DJs, and helped take care of the finances at the end of the night.

Downtown Los Angeles, Ca

Mikawaya is the second oldest Japanese bakery in Los Angeles's Little Tokyo and is the inventor of mochi ice cream. Three months after I was hired as a Sales Associate, I was promoted to the position of Store Manager at the main location. As the manager, I coordinated orders from the factory and other third-party vendors, drew up work schedules, interacted with customers, and hired and trained new employees.

At GameStop, I handled the register, organized the store, answered the phone, and interacted directly with customers. During the more than three years I worked for GameStop, I maintained a flawless customer service record and earned the Power Play award multiple times for adaptability, efficiency, and problem-solving.
