I am a trailblazer, forging my way through the world in my never-ending pursuit of knowledge. I am the asker of questions, the hand always ready to provide assistance, and the embodiment of the age-old mantra, "If at first, you don't succeed, try, try again." Ask me to think outside of the metaphorical box and I'll already have broken it down and put it in recycling (figuratively speaking). By the time I turned 21, I had already earned degrees in fashion design and theatre costume design, been featured in one of LA's most prestigious fashion shows (the FIDM Debut Show 2009), and had my picture on the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising's homepage. After a third college degree and a successful (albeit brief) run in the film industry, I decided to return to the world of academia to learn the skills of business administration and management at Chapman University. My past encounters with various aspects of the administrative and managerial worlds have shown me just how many opportunities there are to meet and collaborate with new people, spread my creativity, and, of course, learn. The years I spent in the world of art taught me to take criticism well—in fact, I welcome it—and adapt to any situation. I think quickly on my feet, can both lead and follow, and get along with pretty much anyone.
