I collaborate with colleagues to review quality and then approve or reject samples. Additionally, I partner with third-party, overseas quality assurance teams globally. Serving as a liaison between all stakeholders and factory personnel to communicate and negotiate product revisions is an important part of my work. Down the line, my efforts then involve getting logistics orchestrated. I hire freight forwarders for ocean and air transport as well as negotiate and select shipping modes based on timelines and costs.

These products had well-known graphics bound by licensing agreements with Disney, Nickelodeon, Sesame Street, Marvel, and Warner Bros. I placed orders and communicated extensively with five overseas factories regarding design/style, production capabilities, quality assurance, and production timelines. I created and oversaw the time-action calendar and work-in-progress reports. My contributions included commencing and expediting approval processes for each milestone in the workflow from order placement to completion. I also inspected products and pre-production samples and provided comments, corrections, and approvals to factories. Championing quality and compliance aspects of production on behalf of licensee was an important aspect of my position. This included approvals of licensed images as well as safety testing by the Consumer Product Safety Commission, Underwriters Laboratories, and in-house oversight.
