My primary responsibility was to define and direct the Fidelity.com mutual fund customer experience. High-level tasks included end-to-end project management, analyzing customer feedback, managing multiple metric reporting platforms, assessing business opportunities, budget prioritization, and leading a team to complete web validation. Collaboration with several stakeholders including web design, product, publishing, and legal & compliance, etc. was a critical skill required in this role. A key accomplishment was pioneering the visual and technical design of the Fidelity.com mutual fund PDF fact sheet of key fund data for 10,000+ funds on the Fidelity platform.

This role required me to be a self-starter and work closely with other analysts, industry experts, and company management in order to deliver recommendations and investment theses for my assigned portfolio of stocks. I evaluated a portfolio of over a dozen emerging market companies from ten-plus countries and sectors using company financials to produce complex financial models, forecasts, and valuations.

In addition to preparing weekly, final month-end reconciliations, and other key accounting reports for my assigned portfolios, I took the initiative to implement several time-saving and automated processes for my team leveraging my past experience as an engineer. Furthermore, I was a primary contact and technical lead in the implementation and launch of a sophisticated trading system which automated compliance and the trade order process for my firm.

I demonstrated success in a new field using my quantitative and problem-solving skills to implement corporate actions and new plans for high-profile clients within the defined benefits space. Other tasks included improving the code base quality, tracking calculation metrics, and ensuring compliance with all client rules and governing regulatory agencies. I was given several opportunities to mentor interns and facilitated training sessions on various topics for incoming developers.
