Amanda leads over 350 audit professionals as West Region Audit Practice Leader, ensuring high quality service to our clients. She previously served as Grant Thornton’s Silicon Valley Managing Partner from 2020 – 2024 where she led a team of audit, tax and advisory experts working with senior management, board of directors and other key decision-makers throughout Silicon Valley. Amanda has nearly 20 years of experience providing audit services and consulting services related to SEC regulations and filings, initial public offerings, audits of internal control over financial reporting, and mergers and acquisitions. Amanda’s career has focused serving on the middle market, has also worked extensively with large multi-national companies in the technology and medtech industries.Amanda is a certified facilitator for Grant Thornton’s people-first culture journey, working to promote a consistent culture of excellence and client service as well as to develop and retrain top talent. She is passionate about mentorship and building diverse, highly capable, client centric teams. Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Amanda worked for Eisner LLP, a large regional public accounting firm in New York City focusing on retail, distribution, and financial service clients. She also taught financial accounting at DeAnza College and SEC Reporting at Golden Gate University. Prior to starting her career in accounting, Amanda worked in the Student Academic Consulting Center of Baruch College developing and teaching curriculum for freshman learning community groups.
