My strategic aptitude drove me to spearhead the organization’s operations, including learning and development, reporting and analytics, and financial analytics. For each department, I control processes/procedures and budgets, as well as operational P&L while engaging in people, recruiting, and market changes.Highlights of accomplishments in this role include:• Partnered with HR to hire, downsize, train, onboard, generate job descriptions, devise 1:1s for each job role, and ensure department leaders showcased 1:1s performance.• Set and tracked KPIs to evaluate staff and leader’s performance accordingly.• Slashed cost to produce a loan, decreasing the time each employee spends on a loan by working on optimizing processes, including system updates and third-party vendor usage.

From branch operations management to manager supervision (production support through post-closing), I administered four managers and a regional operational team across the loan processes. To run a lead generation platform nationally, I assisted a licensed group of individuals. Highlights of accomplishments in this role include:• Managed budget and P&L on a smaller scale, involved in regional process development, and resolved escalation issues for the entire organization.• Showcased sound leadership abilities while implementing leadership change activities to retain the workforce.• Instructed team of Loan Officer Assistants, Production Partners, Processors, Underwriters, Closers, and Post-Closers.• Guided onboarding activities and developed a training platform to optimize employee skills.

In this position, I exhibited exceptional performance and was promoted from Regional Processing Manager to VP of Regional Operations within one year. While working with other leads, I supervised 15 direct reports, including Processors and Junior Processors while orchestrating processes and procedures for the processing department. To improve operational efficiency, I led seven people (three leaders and one administrator) and four individuals (three leaders and one administrator). To ensure loans flowed as smoothly as possible, I monitored day-to-day tasks, including dealing with internal and external escalations and coordinating with sales partners and other department leaders. Highlights of accomplishments in this role include:• Determined and met HR needs and cost-effectiveness, along with optimizing processes/procedures and facilitating employee loan administration.• Increased the number of team members from five to 15 by recruiting top-notch candidates for various roles as Regional Processing Manager.• Secured approximately $20K-$30K by developing a training platform to recruit green and teach eight individuals for the role, providing that paradigm for internal career growth and advancement, saving over 30K in immediate cost.
