The Captain Starlight Program utilises exceptional performance skills to positively transform a child’s healthcare experience. The Captain Starlight role ensures that magical and imaginative moments are created for children & young people that positively disrupt, engage and entertain them in hospitals across Australia, including remote communities via our Healthier Initiatives program.As Captain Starlight I bring transformational play, laughter and creativity to the hospital environment. I am a graduate of the National Institute of Dramatic Art (BA) - little did I know during my time there that I was in the perfect training ground for becoming Captain Starlight years later.My role as Captain Starlight Experience Lead facilitates the nation-wide hunt for more exceptional performers to join our teams. In pursuit of this, I connect with performing arts organisations, companies, groups, institutions and networks to search for the next generation of Captain Starlights! As part of our audition process and network-building, we facilitate workshops and info sessions with current Captain Starlights and award-winning industry professionals.
