As a peer mentor, I Aid the first- year students with their transition into Washington College, as well as, introduce the first-year students to the town and the other peers of Washington College. In doing this I provide the first-year students with access to all of the resources the need for their 4-year experience and hold multiple meetings with the first-year student to discuss their college experience.

At Radcliffe Creek School my role is to supervise children with learning deficiencies and disorders from ages 7-14, assist children ages 7-10 in understanding how to be mindful of themselves and their surroundings, and mentoring children ages 7-14 in different mathematical problem-solving techniques. I also serve as a member on the 8th grade transition committee. For this position, my role is to create informational brochures about future schools that accommodate to the 8th grade students, form surveys for students to recognize and acknowledge their strengths and weaknesses, conduct group Q&A sessions with the students and parents about transitioning from 8th grade to high school, and aid distressed students with strategies on how to cope with the stress of transitioning.

During this time our team participated in community service activities, such as Breast Cancer walks & Relay for Life, as well as, fund-raised over $2,000 for local, regional, and state competitions .

My position at Wesgami Montessori composed of me mentoring students ages 0-4 on how to understand practical life through language, mathematics, music, and sensorial objects, building the vocabulary of adolescents by introducing them to different objects, instructing students on how to make mental connections with different items, introducing students to different languages such as Spanish, English, and Creole, and developing motor skills, creativity, and coordination with children ages 0-4 through music.
