I have had a great opportunity to work in three very different teaching and learning environments. Each school that I have worked with has taught me something new and valuable that I will take with me as an educator. My first teaching position at Rise Korea taught me the fundamentals of how to be a teacher. Teaching second grade Maewon Elementary taught me a lot about lesson planning and classroom management. My current position at TNT school where I am the one and only native English teacher has given me the opportunity to re-work curriculum and a chance to overhaul the way English is taught at that school by restricting classroom the classroom environment and holding students to much higher standards. I also build off of the skills I learned at Maewon to drastically update the grammar curriculum to be more rigorous as well as more fun.
