Supported development of analog RF technologies by performing analytical testing on semiconductor devices throughout the production process (dice, open cavity, and fully packaged). Interfaced with internal customers to understand the functioning of the device and the desired information in order to develop testing procedures, and presented results. Prepared samples with techniques incl. acid decapsulation and mechanical cross-sectioning. Examined samples primarily using electrical testing, optical microscopy, electron microscopy (SEM/EDS and TEM), thermal imaging, x-ray imaging, and acoustic imaging.

Urbana-Champaign Area

Investigated physical and electronic properties of two-dimensional nanomaterials such as hexagonal boron nitride with scanning tunneling microscopy. Prepared clean samples and introduced them to the ultrahigh vacuum system, used the microscope to locate areas of interest and collect data with atomic resolution, and performed maintenance on the microscope and vacuum system.

Communicated with students in an introductory programming course to address and resolve difficulties with classwork and guide them toward better understanding of the content. Collaborated with TAs and other CAs to identify and solve problems in course materials and improve delivery of information to students.
