Amanda Myers-Ramirez has a Masters Degree in Special Education as well as Administration and Leadership. She has spent her nearly 20 year career as a teacher and administrator in Central Virginia. Currently Amanda oversees a vocational training program that serves adult individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities through job training opportunities at a major hospital network. Amanda is passionate about public education, inclusion, equity, and vocational programs for underserved populations. Amanda has also worked in healthcare as a doula and childbirth educator and is passionate about maternal health. In addition to a career in education, Amanda is also the Operations Manager for an international Sustainability Consulting organization where her organizational and leadership skills pair together to guide successful project management. Amanda is also the owner of Avenue and Beyond LLC, a property management company based out of Lynchburg, Virginia.
