Taught 5th grade at St. Francis de Sales School. The subjects I taught were English, Reading, Math, Social Studies, Science, Art, Religion, Family Life, and STREAM. I also taught Science for the 6th grade for one year, focusing on the STREAM portion. STREAM became a passion of mine and I became the STREAM influencer at the school implementing a month long focus on STREAM. As the Outreach Educator I had many pivotal roles at the museum. During the school year, my main position was health science outreach for Kindergarten-Fifth grade. Over my time there, I taught over a quarter million children in schools all over Clark County. I have also facilitated professional development for teachers. While at the museum, I write most of the intensive summer camps that were offered as well as facilitate them. I took over Manager on Duty responsibilities at least once a week and was one of the assistant managers of the Science and Nature team. I wrote many of the weekly programs that are still being used at the museum.
