Playful designer, entrepreneur, and game developer. I write, draw and build stuff, and I teach others how to do it. Bringing together methods and ideas from game development, experience design and educational studies, I strive to create playful and transformative experiences.Just as methods from pedagogy and psychology are useful for designing games, game design methods give me new ways to engage, motivate and build perseverance in learners of all ages. This is the core idea of Spilværk, the startup that I have been running as a CEO since 2017.When I teach students game design, drawing, 3D-printing, or programming, I do my best to make them play, experiment and learn from each other. Communication and collaboration is key. Besides facilitating learning experiences, I enjoy doing game development, visual arts, electronics projects, and music.
