Led strategic vision, planning and oversight for the departments of Philanthropy, Volunteer Services, and Information Desks/Lobby Operations for The Hospital of Central Connecticut and MidState Medical Center. Implemented techniques and strategies to achieve goals, ensuring managers were provided clear goals and methodologies to achieve targets.

Grant Writing— Research, prepare, and submit all programmatic and capital grant requests to a variety of local, state, and national organizations on behalf of one of Connecticut’s largest hospitals; Cultivate and maintain relationships with foundation and corporate partners; Collaborate with members of Hartford HealthCare on regional grants and projects. Project Management—Partner with program staff and physicians to develop budgets, measurable objectives, benchmarks and evaluation tools; Collaborate with department leadership to create new grant-funded programs and projects; Meet regularly with departments across the hospital to determine program needs and coordinate funding calendars; Serve as a liaison between departments and finance to maintain budgets and ensure proper reporting to both the hospital and funder. Prospect Research—Plan and manage campaign and event sponsor prospecting, including cultivation, solicitation, stewardship; Conduct research on individuals and organizations to gain historical data and asses giving capacity and inclination, compile and present findings to the team. Lead prospect screening sessions, create and maintain prospect lists, moves management, and action items for staff and community Campaign Cabinet members.Development—Assist the Development Office with ongoing projects including writing articles for the donor magazine, assistance with donor recognition events and Auxiliary fundraisers; Quarterly reporting to the hospital’s Development Committee; Coordinate and serve as staff liaison for HOCC’s Breast Cancer Community Advisory Committee.
