In this role I worked on creating an inclusive environment for International students by creating online events. I helped plan events, organize social media posts and more. In this position I used various different platforms including, Instagram, Facebook, Telegram, and more. I gained experience with Zoom, and both the Google and Microsoft Suites.

As a Student Constable I was in charge of ensuring the safety of patrons in many venues. I worked with both my co-workers, clients and more to maintain a safe environment. The skills I gained included conflict resolution, working in a team and empathy among others. The venues include student residences, bars on campus, outdoor events and more.

As the Exhibition Intern, I worked with the collections team to aid them in archiving documents and learning about privacy laws relevant to the museum world.I worked with MIMSY XD, a database used to help keep documents from all current and former collections and exhibitions. Working with MIMSY allowed me to develop skills regarding working with large quantities of data and taught me how to work with different types of licensing. I developed a much better understanding of contracts and agreements and the processes required to analyze them. I drafted a policy that specifically dealt with digital documents and media and what protocols should be in place for the best practices to maintain and streamline how records are saved, collected and uploaded.

I helped archive documents pertaining to Wolfe Islands history that have been stored in their City Hall for many years. I worked with spreadsheets and help develop a more detailed system of archiving. Towards the end of my internship I spoke to the Wolfe Island City Council about my work and presented my finding and recommendations for the continuation of the protection and organization of these importnat documents
