I oversaw a chapter of 150 women who all share a common bond of leadership, sisterhood, and academic excellence. My responsibilities included facilitating conversation between the university, headquarters, and the chapter, keeping the chapter open to opportunities, and working with the other leaders in my chapter to plan and execute a memorable experience for our members.

Gaining leads around my campus and learning how to market products to multiple organizations is what my job consists of. Within the internship, I attend a daily Zoom call and have objectives throughout the week. I have learned more about market research and brand promotion in this role.

In this role, I managed a staff of 8-12 lifeguards in a single day. I was the point of contact between the general public and higher management at the public pool. My other responsibilities also included checking chemical levels and adjusting when necessary. As a young adult, I grew into my leadership capabilities while being a manager.

Worked with children, consisting of all different ages, in bettering their swim abilities. Created report cards at the end of each session for student's to see their progress in things they accomplished and their room for improvement. Conducted one-on-one private swim lessons upon request with children.

I was responsible for checking drivers into the warehouse after their daily deliveries to fulfill orders across the state of NC. Creating a detailed record and invoice of all product that was returned back to the warehouse was the biggest part of my job. I also helped wrap pallets being prepared for the next day's fulfillment.

Ensured the safety of patrons. Monitored chemicals throughout the day and responsible for adding chemicals when needed. Able to backwash and sufficiently clean a pool. Greeted patrons and checked member cards as they entered the pool deck. Maintained clean and well-stocked bathrooms.
